Klondike Derby - January 2018

Troop 11 spent a fun weekend at the Klondike derby. This is an annual event held by some Boy Scouts of America and Scouts Canada districts during the winter months and is based on the heritage of the Klondike Gold Rush.

Troop 11 tented in the snow with a warm fire and fully kitted out in winter clothing. Scout master Doug had built a great sled that won great admiration in the Klondike Derby sledge race.
